WABI PASTA BOWL

Here by popular demand, we created a piece that works as both a plate and bowl. Made with the same rustic beauty of our deeper bowls, these versatile new porcelain pasta bowls are meant to use everyday. They have a low profile with sides just high enough to serve a beautiful bowl of pasta without losing any sauce. Our bowls will stack nicely on top to create an elegant, perfectly imperfect place setting. 

Always inspired by nature, I sculpted the original bowl in solid clay, layering thin strips of porcelain and smoothing to create a stone like feel. Plaster molds were made from these pieces. We cast each piece in porcelain, carefully finish the rims, then glaze them in our new layered glazes that give them extra beauty and unique character.

About The Glaze
The granite glaze is our mussel glaze layered with swirls of our snowflake glaze. The combination is reminiscent of the stone.
The foam glaze is our snowflake glaze layered with our clear glaze for a white on white effect that is very subtle and quiet.
